University Results...

FInally, after 3 years of learning game design and development, my degree has ended. I am extremely happy to share I was awarded a First-Class Honours alongside the 'Best in Show' award (mentioned in a previous blog post). It's obviously amazing to be awarded the highest grade for my degree but I know I have more work to do. I feel ready to step into the industry as a Junior Designer or even a QA so that I am able to learn more about game design and development but also being able to provide meaningful help to the team.

It already feels strange coming out of University. It is the first time in my life I have no full time-education to look forward to and I feel like im in Limbo. But, I am doing online courses, making a game as part of a small studio and putting myself out there for job roles. I would love a Junior Game Design role either generalised or in Level design since I enjoy these disciplines the most as they are creative and technical. My dream is to work for a company that would happily mentor me and constantly teach me new things but also provide a cool workplace like Mediatonic which was rated as one of the top 100 companies to work for and are backed by a company like Epic. Just the chance to prove myself and the potential for learning and growth. Anyway, thanks for reading!
