UE5 Learning

Since the release of UE5, I have been dying to get my hands on. However, I have been focused on Unity for the past 3/4 years and so my Unreal Engine skill had been left dormant for this time. Therefore, I decided the best way to get back into it, is by following a blueprint tutorial using Udemy. This would allow me to refresh the basics of the engine before I start making prototypes and games of my own. The course was relatively brief and has worked as a great re-introduction to the engine and some its new capabilities.

I have to admit, even though I have been a die hard user of Unity for some years now, Unreal and blueprints are absolutely beautiful. Creating games and prototyping is extremely quick in Unreal blueprints compared to having to use text scripting and the power of BSP makes creating level blockouts insanely easy.

I think I may have been converted.

Anyway, I'm going to keep digging deep into UE5 and who knows, maybe I'll even try developing a game as well as some prototypes!
